Katie Porter on Lawrence: "I spend 2-3 hours reading/prepping before a hearing." She is GOOD!

This in answer to Lawrence asking her if she thought she would be able to pack so much into the allotted five minutes and giving her kudos for doing so. Imagine reading! She is brilliant. Cut right to the chase and pulled no punches in the Wells Fargo hearing.

SHe said we should neither impeach nor not impeach for political reasons, but for constitutional reasons.

We have some incredible freshman reps.

3. She's great isn't she?

It's like she knows what the "answers" to her questions are going to be and then the follow ups....wow

I'm very impressed. She's great.

5. Did you hear her say her expereince as a professor asking students questions to determine what they

know has prepared her for this? She prepares and then knows how to ask the questions to nail it.

4. This is an easy discussion.

All I thought was “wow.” Porter needs to advance in leadership, the quicker the better. And you could see that O’Donnell was thrilled to have her on. He knows a political star when he sees one.

One more thing: Porter heightened O’Donnell’s performance. It was a noteworthy moment.

6. One of the smartest people now in Congress

I plan on donating to her re-election... and hope she aims for higher office.
