I don't give a shit what anybody says about AOC...
But she is a fucking GEM!!
I've never in my political lifetime (I remember my mother crying when JFK was assassinated ..)come across a more competent, realistic genuine citizen representative. This individual strikes me as someone who is truly engaged as what someone who the founders envisioned as a representative in the House. Just compare her 1 month in office to the YEARS of scumbags like Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows, Jason Chavez, Devon Nunez, Louie Gohmert, etc, etc., etc., etc., ad infinitum. And my wonderful congressman, member of the House Fascist Caucus, Andy Biggs, ALL Moronic Trump boot lickers with ZERO self respect, zero respect for the constitution. Zero respect for the rule of law. TRAITORS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM. AOC kicks all of their collective ass. I, as a middle aged white guy, will do everything in my power to elect her President (when she's old enough..) ![]() I will actively campaign for her. If possible, I would like to join her administration. She is the future of America. And it delights me to no end that the Repukes are ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIED of her... ![]() You go girl!!

10. She's talented
I think she needs a lot more polish - but in the same breathe - she must know she's providing shade (and fire from conservatives) from others who can normalize what's she's saying and doing.
Funny how people like socialistic policies, but despise the vague definition of socialism as defined by the Pukes? |

49. I agree
With a bit "more polish" and experience, she could some day be running for president or perhaps she may end up becoming Speaker of the House. Hopefully she can gain that polish without becoming scripted like so many promising politicians, though I don't think that will happen with her. It really helps that she is not financially beholden to any special interests.
She will undoubtedly make some freshman mistakes, but she seems tough enough to recover and keep going. |

11. Well Said!!! But Let Me Continue With My Appreciation of Her...
What first impressed me about AOC was how she brings her HEART to work! That's certainly something that those scumbags could learn from her - that is, if they have any heart left.
The second thing that impressed me was her courage, and how she sets the record straight and doesn't put up with any shit from anybody. And last but not least, the more I watch her in action, the more I realize that she is one heckuva smart cookie! In those hearings, she was prepared, and she knew exactly what she was doing, and where she was going. And that, of course, scares the Republi-pukes shitless, 'cause they've done such a downright lousy job for so many years. They're not only scared shitless of her personally, but they're also scared shitless of how she might inspire up and coming or future legislators to emulate her - which could wind up costing them their jobs. |

Had the right treated her like pretty much any other new member of Congress, her words and ideas would have had comparatively little influence. But because of the incessant, unhinged assaults on her, she has a national platform and is making the most of it.

31. AOC is a sign of how far our party has strayed right
I was 13 when President Kennedy was assassinated. The Democratic Party was a different party then. AOC would have been considered a traditional Democrat back then. Now her ideas are called radical by the very people who moved the political center of this nation to the extreme right.
We need more AOCs to bring our party back to the true center - which is where democracy lives. The repubicans have shown their true face and we must never forget that face. They can never be trusted again. In reality, the gop should be banned for their treasonous behavior, IMO. |

Personally, I favor Kamala Harris at this time, but then again, I thought Tim Tebow was the second coming of an NFL QB. And we need that, now more than ever. She is definitely not from the sternly worded letter school of political discourse. Of course, the RWers are all over her with their attacks. 67. Agree; we need fresh air. The USA and same ole, same ole is broken. I hope she finds allies
that she can connect with that have more "political" experience and form a real coalition. Like Liz Warren (for example) and others who have been doing it a long time and know the current system is "rigged" against the majority of Americans. It really only serves the wealthy and connected. I really appreciate the candor coming out of the Freshmen (mostly ladies)!

69. She scares the Devil out of the Old White Party
Love her and will do anything support her. Damn great women. Wish she would have her own line of clothing-I'd buy it and proudly wear the AOC label.

71. I agree, I am liking more and more of what she says. I expected the same college educated ...
bartenders I've know in my past and she's not them. I liking more of AOC's positions the more I hear them, for sure.
