I am usually a very forgiving person. I will never be able to forgive Trump voters.

I have some friends, family members, coworkers who voted for Trump. Some of them are good people. I have been civil with them when it comes to Trump. I have been waiting for the inevitable to happen before I really tell them what I think about them. I have been waiting for the Mueller report and the removal of Trump.

When this happens I will tell them who they are and what they did. If they don't like it and no longer want anything to do with me that will be a blessing, Good riddance.

They supported a traitor and they turned against our constitution, our laws. They gave up all morals in order to support a fraud.

I will tell them they put themselves, all Americans, the entire country at risk. I will tell them they are complete fools.

When the inevitable happens and if I somehow remain on good terms with the Trump voters I know, which is doubtful, I will never ever trust them with anything because I will know deep down inside they are fools.

And Hugh Hewitt and Frank Luntz and Hannity and Carlson and a Coulter and the rest of the GOP liars.

The main causes of our current national crisis are the conservative liars who brainwash the GOP base. No one bears more responsibility than them. Without rightwing propaganda, Trump would be out by now.

36. But the rightwing billionaires OWN the Republican politicians

And the rightwing media propagandists own the politicians too.

Look at Mark Sanford - he got turfed out for criticizing Trump. Because Fox and Limbaugh turned on him.

And the Koches picked dumb, white Republican polticians and fund them -- then they dispose of them when they are no longer useful to the billionaires. Guys like Paul Ryan, Rick Santorum, Scott Walker, Kobach, George W Bush, Pat Toomey. The politicians are a dime a dozen; they're disposable. The billionaires will find ANOTHER politician whenever they need one.

It is Fox and Limbaugh, and rightwing billionaires, that are the true problem we need to address.

31. Yes,Yes Yes, Trump supporters are simply the logical result for 30 years of Fox and the Christian

right attacks on our social, economic and political identity. After years of attacking liberals, the right got Bush who was bad ans we thought we had hit rock bottom. After 8 years of Dems and Obama putting the country back together in the face of Republican intransigence, we thought we had turned the corner as a country, we didn’t. We underestimated the American capacity for hatred and racism. Most Republicans who I know say Obama set race relations back 50 years because their hatred has only intensified. I ha e all but written off most Republican friends. Only a complete economic collapse of the economy where people feel real pain will Trumpers understand how misinformed and ignorant they are and have been. Also, Fox must go.

15. No, it won't.

These people are in the fucking Void, they are lost.

They will not soul seek and face down the reality of their own twisted depravity in embracing such human filth as Trump.

No, they will immediately begin seeking out as congruent a replacement for Trump as they can find, and onto the pedastal that new Death Eater will go, howling and belching the lunatic music to their ears they have come to depend upon so greatly. Life without such after the opening of Pandora's box would be a constant torture.

Can you imagine the level of suffering they would endure being robbed of the courage to call some lovely human being a "dirty n#gger", or restrain themselves from bashing in the head of a 97 year old man with a brick because he was Mexican?

They will mobilize for Trump's successor at light speed. I guarantee you that there are at least three Republican congressmen right now ready to assume the role.

Fox and Limbaugh are POWERFUL propaganda, that tell Trump voters that Democrats are worse and excuse Republican atrocious actions. Many Trumpers are totally misled; they’re not operating from the truth. They’re lied to.

If you haven’t watched the movie “Brainwashing of My Dad”, please do- it will help you understand some of the less-deplorable Trump voters.

16. Exactly!

I could overlook someone voting for the con artist. HRC was the choice, and there was so much hate spewed out for years over the poor woman. She's done more for women and earning respect around the world, but not enough to beat down the propaganda machine of fox and the reich wing radio.

The problem for me is those that still stand by him, after ALL that has transpired since he invaded the White House. That, to me, is unforgivable. They have seen the proof of their stupid decision, and like the con artist openly stated, he could shoot somebody on 5th Avenue, and the cult following would still stand by him. He didn't say, but he could have, I could lie to them a thousand times and they would still believe me. I could insult our friends around the world, and they would think I am somehow furthering American interests around the world. I can meet with dictators all around the world, and they would find a way to believe I stand for free people and American values.

Those people, the ones that didn't dessert him two weeks after he began his streak of non stop lies, are the ones that can go straight to hell. Those are the ones who are deplorable enough to put their own selfish interests ahead of our country's well being. Fuck them all. Nope, anybody that supports that piece of shit today is the problem. Those are the verified and true deplorable thugs and brain dead fools of this country. Nation of morons.

20. Most voters don't look at a big picture.

I had a young gal tell me that she liked Trump because she got a job after he was elected. If you are broke and unemplyed this is a big deal. Of course it probably had nothing to do with Trump, but that's what she honestly felt. The media has been running stories about how some Trump voters have turned against him because their refund was less. The only thing they see is their paycheck. Of course, logic has little to with it, but there is a good lesson to be learned from these people. Candidates need to be tuned into the voters enough to break down how they could personally benefit from policies. The moral high ground and other abstractions don't get a lot of votes. They are always going to be asking "What's in it for me?"
I'm not talking about hardcore nut cases, but the voters who don't pay much attention to politics. Unfortunately, these are the ones who decide elections. I'm convinced we have a replay of 2008 where the Democrats ending up holding the bag after another Republican wreckage of the economy. The master puppeteers pulling the strings have it all worked out. Plunder and wreck the economy and leave the mess to someone else. Historically, I think the lection of 2016 was one of the biggest disasters to befall the USA. The damage will take many yaers to repair.

And if the report has no escape clause for Trump you will end these relationships if needed? And you have no reservations about falling out with co-workers? How are you going to do your job? I assume you need to communicate with these people after telling them what you think of them? That will be fun, unless of course you get fired. Maybe your boss is Trumpet who won't take kindly to somebody who is disruptive to workplace harmony. And your friends and family members who voted Trump, you.are willing to destroy those relationships, but only.if the report goes as you think? Doesn't sound like a great plan.

58. I have been a member of a Unitarian Universalist congregation since the fall...

...of 2011. One of the 7 principles of the UU core values is believing in “the inherent worth and dignity of every person.”

I am totally failing on this one - I can find no inherent worth or dignity in Donald Trump. None.

60. Why should you? They're either idiots or assholes.

They've been exposed as racists and/or morons, and that toothpaste ain't goin' back in the tube.

63. I'm related to some of them. They're all racist and/or sexist.

Brother hates women. Openly says so. Refused to vote for Hillary because he said he wasn't going to "vote for no feminism".

He's got almost a million dollars or more invested in stocks. Total Scrooge. Never spent a dime and had my poor old Mom paying him rent off and on for 20 years to boot because she couldn't afford to live alone anymore. Though there are 5 of us in the family (siblings), he's leaving his entire fortune (and he loudly let all of us know this) to ONE of the males - who has some - well, MORAL and other issues that he has allowed to ruin his own life. THAT'S the one of us he wants to "help". The rest of us - well...he basically told the rest of us to fuck off with that move - and the females in the family when he said he'd never vote for a woman because he hates them. (yea he SAID that).

So yea, Trump voter.

64. I also have friends and family members who voted for Trump

Here is my opinion for what it is worth. Many of these "good" people minimized the importance of the election and the importance of the President because they would minimize a 4 alarm fire in their own home. The words Fake News is perfect for their ears because they live in a fantasy world that demands a constant state of denial. Even if they are literally starving to death they will more than likely not see the chain of events leading to the consequence. It is a mental addiction to a false security based on fear and very similar really to a drug or alcohol addition (not to minimize these in any way). Even if they hit rock bottom, their minds will very cleverly switch to victim mode where they will claim to be victimized by liberalism and they will double triple down on their assertions. If there is a waking moment for them of self awareness then this is by grace (from God, evolution, the obelisk, who knows) and if it happens it should be celebrated. But more than likely its not going to happen. It is the tribal member looking at the life saving heat of newly discovered fire and shaking their head and saying "magic", "evil" and walking away with their poor family members to freeze to death in ignorance. It is the good German who went along with all of the propaganda while the world burned around them and their families, willing to sacrifice all others, even their own children by holding on with the hope that all of the falsehoods are true. It is re-arranging the chairs on the deck of the Titanic.
Self awareness, clarity of the moment, the ability to see beyond the man made rules of the day, and brave compassion for ones fellow beings is what saves mankind and advances mankind past its own self destruction. It is the best of what we are. It is what we want our country to represent.

66. Trump voters I can kinda-sorta forgive...

But the liberals who knew better yet STILL crossed over/stayed home/spewed that "Trump can't possibly be any worse than Hillary!" -bullshit? I'm going to be hating those pieces of shit until the day I die.

68. I can forgive the ones who voted for him; it's the ones who continue(d) to support post-mid-2017

that I will have a difficult time forgiving them.

Some were simply flimflammed by the con artist into voting for him.

But after he was in office for a few months, the chicanery and the evil were evident and clear - so supporting him past that point shows a very deliberate choice to disregard all moral and ethical responsibilities.

69. Can you forgive people who watch pro wrestling? This is the mind set of many Trump voters.

Those who are not disenfranchised (i.e. mostly white ) often view politics as a game rather than a matter of life or death. They cast their vote the same way they cheer for a sports team--as if it is nothing but a sports competition.

They do not realize that by keeping some American worker's disenfranchised they keep all wages low--i.e they are hurting themselves economically--because our country's elite have brainwashed them.

I do not hate Trump voters. i want to knock their heads together--and then teach them the basics of Marxist economic theory. But this is the country that has made "know nothing" a virtue.

71. I think the rift will continue for years

I’m prepared for the fight to be a very intense one.

First they came out as the Tea party, then as MAGATs. They will reinvent the name but continue to be the antiheroes of Democracy.
