Let's hear from all of folks trump never paid what he owed

We need a parade of all of trump's victims of unscrupulous business practices. Something the Press didn't do with proper vetting in a timely basis.

Only five months into her employment there she landed a $26.5 million deal.

The sale put McGovern, who was working on commission, into the “Luxury Mortgage Specialist” tier, which meant she’d get 45% of the brokerage fee once the loan was completed.

Though there was a small regulatory hiccup, the deal eventually went through.

The Trump company got a $530,000 fee from the deal. That meant McGovern’s share would be about $238,000.

But she only got a $10,000 in commission, because the mortgage company’s lawyer altered her contract after the fact, according to a lawsuit McGovern filed in Manhattan Supreme Court in 2007.

1. My husband worked as a commercial artist for a sportswear company in Florida back in the 90s.

He designed T-shirts for Trump Tower and the company was never paid nor were the T-shirts returned. Not a huge amount of money but probably several thousands of dollars, enough to strain a small business. Scumbag!!

4. There were plenty of contractors that Trump didn't pay.

Trump's Jupiter FL golf course had 23 liens against it, which means 23 contractors who weren't paid what they were owed.

The DC hotel had over $3 million in contractor liens filed against it.

Trump has ripped off dozens of contractors yet during the campaign I saw contractor's trucks (work trucks) with Trump stickers. WTF were they thinking? Made me want to approach them & ask if they'd remodel my kitchen & then, because they were a Trump supporters, I could refuse to pay them, like Trump does.

8. I personally know a man that was hired

to deliver gambling machines, he owned a small trucking company and after he completed the job, he was told that trump claimed bankruptcy ... nearly broke him financially.

9. ME!

Wasn't Donald directly but my band got stiffed playing Trump Marina in Atlantic City.
Most gigs paid directly at the end of the gig.Not Trump Marina. You had to invoice their accounting department
that was only open 9 to 5 weekdays, and then get paid a few weeks later. You better send your invoice certified and return receipt requested or they really drug their heels. You couldn't just drop it off at their accounting department. They didn't keep weekend hours but you couldn't anyway.
Our booking agent sent an invoice for two gigs a week late and by the time they received it the Trump Marina went bankrupt.Kiss $2400-3000 goodbye.
Our booking agent was straight up and paid us out of his pocket. He said that you had five business days to invoice them and considered it his fault!
We were lucky!

11. I want to hear from these people too.

Are they afraid Trump will sue them? How can he if they are telling the truth and he honestly does owe them money. Wouldn't the case just be dismissed before it went anywhere?

There must be hundreds, if not thousands of people/businesses he has screwed over since he started in real estate. He couldn't possibly afford to go after all of them and there is no lawyer in their right mind who would take on his cases because they know they would never see a penny from him.

15. ahh, but you could find an attorney

that would work on retainer or the books. for 100k a year. Maybe just a start up guy. He'd file suit against the contractor(s) costing the con a pittance of what he owed in the course of a year.

That's just my opinion of course, but .....................................

12. One of the stories I recall during the campaign...

...was that of a caterer he hired for an event of son=me kind. He failed to pay her, offering the explanation that once people heard that she had catered a Trump event, she would be in great demand and that the privilege of working for him was payment enough. (I am paraphrasing here.)

He is such a lowlife scumbag.

13. Another was the owner of a small architecture firm.

The owner and his employees worked for months redesigning part of a Trump property. He said he wanted to do well because the image of having worked for Trump would be good for his small firm.

When it came time to get paid, Trump offered 25% of what was agreed to, Trump's reason, the work was substandard. The Architech recounted going to a meeting at the property and seeing that construction was exactly what his firm had designed. Finally Trump told him take the 25% or he can sue. The guy knew that he didn't have the resources to fight Trump in court and that even if he did and won, winning would take years and by then his business would be bankrupt. So he took Trump's lowball payment and promised himself that he would never again take work from Trump, or that he would demand a large percentage of payment upfront. To add insult to injury, before Trump paid him the 25%, Trump deducted some from that and forced the man to sign an agreement that he would not badmouth Trump to other Architectural firms. I think the guy said he ended up getting 10-15% of what was initially contracted to and that he had to take out a loan on his home to keep his business afloat and hold on to his skilled staff.

14. The Polish contractors he screwed over when he was building his temple to opulence.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/27/nyregion/trump-tower-illegal-immigrant-workers-union-settlement.html

He wound up paying (though he claims that he *never* settles!) around $1.4 million for this one.
