Here's the ONE thing Trump is missing in his "rage" over the "Executive Time Schedule leak to Axios.

Prior to starting my own business in 2001, I'd held a number of supervisory and management positions. Many employees rise (or sink) to the moral level of the person they report to. That person sets a standard. If the employees see them "get away" with anything, they will resent it, and try to compensate by "getting away" with the same thing or something they see as equal value.

I'm not, in any way, trying to paint a picture of ANYTHING as black and white. Anyone who has read a handful of my posts knows I don't do that.

I'm just telling you what i experienced. Trump lacks any kind of moral compass, and as a result, his staffers have felt a lessening need to have one of their own. I know he does not hire "the best people." But SOME of the people he hired, if they felt that they were working for a boss who respected and appreciated them, would NEVER breach protocol in the ways that we are seeing.

In short, "He doesn't give a fuck, why should I?"

He demands loyalty, and is loyal to no one. He's been in adulterous relationships during all of his marriages. And that's just ONE aspect of it.

My little rant was triggered by seeing this headline a few moments ago:

‘Furious’ Trump has unleashed the White House IT department to track down leaker of embarrassing ‘executive time’ daily schedule

He's also "furious" because he GOT CAUGHT...again...and it was revealed publicly. You'll note that while Sarah Sanders tried to put a spin on it about "a creative environment" for his MAGA strategies, no one has denied that 60% of his "schedule" is undocumented "free time."

1. If the WH IT dept does figure out who it was, I hope it is someone who Trump considers a favorite

because he deserves to be disappointed.

He treats nearly everyone in the world with disrespect, but has the gall to demand respect from everyone else. That's not how human nature works, Donald. Does your very good, very big brain not know that?

3. That has been my experience as well.

And the worst part is that, as the recognized leader of our country, Trump's behavior creates a permission state for all his bad behavior.

When the president is openly bigoted, we shouldn't be surprised to see people imitate his words and actions, and go even further.

4. You nailed it, "permission state."

I took a more verbose route to get there, but that's exactly what I was saying. Immoral and / or unethical leaders in any workplace absolutely create a "permission state."

5. I couldn't agree more!

I'm working as an internal auditor with investigating in fraud cases. And yes, employees do as they learn from their superiors.
In German we have a saying for this:
Der Fisch stinkt vom Kopf!
Translation: Fish starts stinking from the head...

6. I would argue that those people don't have a moral compass.

They just pretend to have one then adopt whichever one is most convenient.

7. The Con is only furious when his real life is exposed

He thinks he can do anything he wants, legal or illegal but it must never be challenged or exposed
