spastic tubes
Dr. John C. Willke, a general practitioner with obstetric training and a former president of the National Right to Life Committee, was an early proponent of this view, articulating it in a book originally published in 1985 and again in a 1999 article. He reiterated it in an interview Monday.
This is a traumatic thing shes, shall we say, shes uptight, Dr. Willke said of a woman being raped, adding, She is frightened, tight, and so on. And sperm, if deposited in her vagina, are less likely to be able to fertilize. The tubes are spastic.
Leading experts on reproductive health, however, dismissed this logic.
There are no words for this it is just nuts, said Dr. Michael Greene, a professor of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive biology at Harvard Medical School.

(13,776 posts)This is such a horrifying topic I wouldn't have believed I could have laughed about it, but that was both a funny blast from the past and a perfect way of demonstrating, just as it was the first time, how utterly uninformed some people are.

(34,372 posts)I never realized my lady parts were so versatile! I already knew my uterus was a tracking device (thanks, Roseanne Barr!), but I didn't know my "tubes" were spastic and could shoot out sperm-killing "secretions" to defeat only evil, unwanted sperm.
Wow!
Willke is spastic. And so is Romney for crowing about Willke's endorsement.

I know we all like to believe that our doctor is competent, but the fact is that most of them graduated in the bottom half of their class and there is a widespread and very lucrative business in getting graduates through their boards. Add in the perversion of people going into medicine strictly because of the social status and big paydays that come with the degree, and here you are.
So the odds are that your doctor is nowhere near being the best. This moron has a degree, a license, and a practice. Think about that for a minute.

Thanks in advance.
