Texas man shot woman after 'freaking out' over price of sex

A man shot and killed a woman inside his home in Williamson County after "freaking out" about the money she wanted for sex, according to an affidavit.

32-year-old Archie Samuel Rogers Jr. is charged with murder in the shooting death of 21-year-old Stormie Callison last Friday.

Police say Rogers told them he met Callison on an adult website where they made arrangements for sex on Friday afternoon at his home in Bartlett.

After they had sex, police say Callisom raised the price from $600 to $1,000, and told him that if he wouldn't pay, she would call the police.

Rogers told investigators he "freaked out" and pulled out a 9mm pistol and shot her in the leg. He said he then fired another shot into her head and left his home.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office was able to arrest Rogers using an infrared drone.

2. My First Thought

My first thought was that now he is in jeopardy of getting the death penalty, or spending the rest of his life in prison. It would have been better to just pay her the $1,000. Yes, he could have just kicked her out, but even if he had paid her what she wanted he likely would have been better off than he is currently.

8. I didn't see that part.

Which is what he SHOULD have done. Pay her the agreed upon amount and told her to leave or HE would call the police.

10. This is what happened according to him.

Iím sure there is more to it. I donít typically trust folks to tell the truth after theyíve just committed murder. Heís grasping at straws and trying to find some minor justification to minimize his actions.

5. I sure hope none of us are too amused over the death of a woman and don't reduce ...

her to a punch-line in some kind of joke about it.

6. This guy was always going to kill someone eventually.

Normal people donít handle negotiation situations like this. That his first impulse was to commit murder says a lot.

11. A. We are assuming that he is being truthful at all

B, if he is, she may have demanded more for extra roughness or kinkiness.

I wonít pass judgement on the young woman, may she Rest In Peace.
