I think it's perfectly legitimate to encourage women to carry healthy pregnancies to term. I'm personally not the hugest fan of abortion, but I am pro-choice.

Now I would probably never put a "Choose Life" sticker on my vehicle, but I do have at least a little sympathy for the sentiment.

It's about a legal construct and human rights. I don't understand the conflicted nature of this subject.

Sounds like something a pro-choice person who wanted to make abortion legal, safe, and rare would say.

However, those that display it are likely anti-choicers and, therefore, hypocrits.

The Poster shirt fad had british rockers wearing somewhat pro-gay t-shirts with big lettering that said things like "Frankie say relax" and "Choose life" in the face of AIDS.

Then the always clueless and usually unethical co-opted the saying

I recall the Stupid clueless midwestern girls in the 80's talking about how they loved George Michael because he must be a born-again christian because he wore a poster shirt saying "ChooseLife" in a Wham video. None of them believed me when i said the t-shirt had gay origins.

who will eliminate the ability to choose life.

I have no problem with ad campaigns encouraging women to continue their pregnancies.
I take issue with the way they fuck with our laws.
