As Nancy Pelosi continues to school Donald Trump over the ongoing government shutdown, her popularity among the American people is rising.

According to a CBS News poll released on Wednesday, Americans believe Pelosi – by double digits – is handling shutdown negotiations better than Trump.

The survey finds that 47 percent back Pelosi’s efforts to re-open the government, compared to 35 percent who say Trump is coming off as the better deal-maker.

TV news is getting their 'bothsides' message out too well. Broadcast tv news has yet to spend any time at all pointing out that (a) Ryan and the Republican House started this, (b) the Democratic House sent bills back to the Senate that the Senate had previously passed unanimously, and (c) Mitch has subjugated the Senate to the White House by refusing to allow a vote.

Broadcast tv news spends all their meager time, between chit-chat and commercials, talking about "stalemate" and "compromise" and how "Nancy Pelosi" and "the White House", or "the Administration" are not talking.
