Per NyPost

At one point during the video, a graphic flashes across the screen saying “Blackout 2011” — which users have pointed to as proof of the students’ innocent intentions. There are multiple clips of the “Covington Crazies” donning black, and sometimes blue, face and body paint during various sporting events.

I was just responding to your suggestion that black was their school color. It is not, according to their website.

or advised students not to wear black face paint because those most directly impacted by blackface do not see a substantial difference.

And, to me, if it’s part of the school colors, body painting is not racist in any way shape or form

And it’s not uncommon for schools to use colors not part of their normal colors. My alma mater, Univ of Louisville, is red/black but often had “white out” games

Was that reverse racism? No. It’s not. Neither is black body paint all over or wearing all black. Or is Johnny Cash or Roy Orbison now considered racist too?

It’s a basketball game but that was disturbing. I don’t have kids but if I did there’s no way in hell I’d put them in an environment like that.
