Should I complain to my old biology teachers/professors, I never heard about "SHUT THAT THING DOWN"?

I must have completely missed it.

And on that subject, why aren't companies who make contraceptives interested in synthesizing "SHUT THAT THING DOWN"?

It's not like there's a chance that a throwback to the middle ages could be elected a Senator or anything like that, right? Right?

But I'm prety upset with my OB/Gyn. He never once told me that I could just "shut that thing down". Not once. Well, mal-practice is what I'd call that!!
