Mitt's medical records?

During the POTUS presser the Prez mentioned things the American public should know about the candidates are his finances and (by the way) medical reports.

At this the reporters all laughed. Is Rmoney stonewalling the release of his medical records too?

1. The Obama campaign is smart. They haven't played their best hand, yet.

I suspect there are bombshells awaiting to explode and they might not have to light the fuse.

2. Interesting! I've heard a number of people suggest that Mittens might be in the first stages of....

...Alzheimer's or dementia. One lady referred to Mitt's short steps; 'gait' can be an early indicator of Alzheimer's. Other people have made reference to his frequent gaffes.

4. At last an answer about "that walk".

I've been in threads that made fun of his strange baby-step walk. But to hear that it may be an indicator of some serious condition changes everything.

You'll get quite a few hits.

10. I noted my father's Parkinsons gait before

the doctor diagnosed him. Maybe it's Parkinsons.

It would be interesting to see what his parents and grandparents died of.

5. Careful now. Obama hasn't released his medical records either.

Unless there is a good reason to suspect there is a serious medical problem that would interfere with one's ability to do the job, I think the case can be made that they are private and irrelevant to the position.

7. One more thing, I heard part of Obama's statement today, but didn't hear this part.

I am having trouble getting a transcript. Do you have a link to this statement, because I would like to see it in context.

8. Presidents have annual medical check ups and are reported.

Obama's last checkup was 11/1/11 which counts as a release.

Also, McCain released his records May 2008.

9. That's quite different than releasing one's medical records.

Obama's yearly physical is reported in general terms and either gives him a good or bad mark. It does not reveal the personal parts of either his history, his current complaints or specific issues that may have been addressed.

This speculation about Romney having a psychiatric disorder or Alzheimer's is really objectionable to me.

We have more than enough to attack Romney with.

11. BTW, some of the drugs

used to treat symptoms of Parkinsons can cause hallucinations.

Right now I wonder if the entire GOP is hallucinating about RMoney being their wonderful candidate.
