Homeless man rewarded for helping Chiefs player before playoff game

https://www.kctv5.com/news/homeless-man-rewarded-for-helping-chiefs-player-before-playoff-game/article_f4d1739c-17a4-11e9-8d1d-43e3123e8213.html

And apparently since this broke, over 10K has been raised for him and his truck has new windows.

I love a GOOD story!

1. My BMW broke down on the interstate

Going home from work. I'm on the side of the road. I had my bag phone out (google it) arranging for a tow. I had several cars pull over and offer to help. It wasn't the other BMW's. It wasn't the Jag's or the Lexus. Invariably it was some beat up old truck, or some guy with a 12 year old Honda or something.

In my youth I needed jumper cables because it would happen on occasion. That's probably been 20+ years. I still carry them around. I see someone who needs a jump I pull up. It's my version of paying it forward.

2. I try to help whoever needs it.

so many times I have people tell me, "it started fine at home but now it just click/click/clicks. I clean the battery terminals and they are on the way.

I don't know how it works with the 2017 thru 2019 models due to their computer systems, but the rest it seems to work fine.

4. Hey, I had a bag phone too! They were a lot more powerful than these current ones

I guess because of that big-ass battery!
