I have news for you McCarthy, YOU are not the party of Lincoln.
Steve King is a piece of shit, but he belongs to your party. Republicans split with Lincoln 80 years ago.
And the $4.5 thousand a foot wall (assuming for a second that the $5.7 billion could actually build it) is wasted money. It is not the weakest link in our security. Let's talk about spending money where it might do some good rather than on a temper tantrum from the orange BLOTUS.

3. Spending money where it might do some good...
now that's a novel idea for republicans. When do they ever spend money for the good of the people? Maybe begrudgingly out of compromise but it never comes out of their own free will to help with issues on poverty, healthcare, public education, housing, environment, renewable energy, etc. No, they do tax cuts for the rich based on wishful thinking (or just outright deception), subsidies for large companies that don't need the money, bloated military budgets, making elections unfair, polluting our environment, you name it...it's all about letting a few assholes get away with shitting on our world and making us pay to clean up their mess so a few privileged people can live in opulence while the rest of us fight over the leftovers. The fact we do as well as we do is testament to our own ingenuity and has nothing to do with the stingy generosity of wealthy people.
