(497 posts)Sentence...Donald Trump had no idea what the word "ethics" means. He is a sad excuse for a human being, let alone an American president.
Thankyou for the welcome. I have been a member for a long time, but I've found it hard to drag myself away from CNN and other like media outlets to make many comments on this site. I'll try to join in more often in the future.

(13,142 posts)I wonder what McConnell and Trump would do if the Dems in the House put one together and packaged it in a law requiring it to be displayed in the Oval Office. For example, make one of the items on the list be "A President Should Not Lie." Is McConnell going to keep it from a vote in the Senate? If the Senate passes it (who votes against it?), is Trump going to veto it?

(497 posts)It should be considered perjury every time he/she lies while in office. Also, a president while in office should never be immune from being charged with any offence.

(36,361 posts)Trump started his Presidency by lying before God with his hand on the Bible.
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."
