I believe that quite a few people, including Trump's base, numerous billionaires and, most assuredly
Vladimir Putin, consider Trump's Christmas shutdown an "accomplishment"; a feather in his cap. He now owns the record for the longest government shutdown in history. Most of those being harmed are among the most vulnerable;those who are unable to fight back in any immediate way.
Trump is a cowardly bully and he is stupid enough to be proud of it.
