3. I think that Tim Scott is quite tired and fed up of the racism

Usually, GOP outrage is reserved for Democratic women swearing, but for once a Republican actually had enough of King's nonsense. In the Washington Post, Tim Scott, the only black Republican Senator, wrote "I will admit I am unsure who is offended by the term 'Western civilization' on its own, but anyone who needs 'white nationalist' or 'white supremacist' defined, described and defended does lack some pretty common knowledge."

2. Mitch McConnal is blocking it

The only way I can see is if we have some Republicans switch parties to Democratic, thus giving the Majority back to Democrats. (One can Dream)

6. Three have gone on the record

Alaska's Lisa Murkowski: "We don't need to hold up these six other departments at the same time that we are resolving these very important security issues."
Maine's Susan Collins: "I'm not saying their whole plan is a valid plan, but I see no reason why the bills that are ready to go and on which we've achieved an agreement should be held hostage to this debate over border security."
Colorado's Cory Gardner: "I think we should pass a continuing resolution to get the government back open. The Senate has done it last Congress, we should do it again today."

11. gutless GOP need to ditch Moscow Mitch

They can demand he resign or vote a new leader.
But they won't because they're the Gutless GOP and Putin hasn't told them to stand up.

2020 is coming.
