Is letting president Big Baby declare an emergency the solution to the shutdown?

From this article (warning: video autoplay of him ranting)
https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-national-emergency-congress-shutdown_us_5c37c7c7e4b05cb31c40ed3f

Instead, the solution to the impasse seems to be Trump declaring a national emergency at the border, using a dubious authority to reprogram military construction money for the wall, and then Congress passing clean funding legislation ― without wall money ― while Trumpís executive maneuver gets tied up in court.

I just don't know anymore. Fucking McConnell won't allow the senate to vote on something the president won't sign and shit, I don't know. Talk me down.

2. Per MSNBC -- He's just taken declaring an emergency off the table.

Apparently someone got to him that it would be in court forever.

6. How many of those

cowardly repigs would haul ass out of the US if god forbid we did have a emergency. They run away from their constituents asking questions. They would not think twice to leave the country to the damage they have caused us.

They would protect their own asses.

8. And the next time he wants something and Congress says no?

Another emergency? Why not, especially if it works for this slow-rolling "emergency" that isn't an emergency at all?

Democrats have had a share of power for just over a week now, and Trump is melting down. I hardly think now is the time to say, "Oh well, if you really really want to set $5 billion on fire, Donald, who are we to stop you?"
