Could any republicans be charged as an Accessory After The Fact for their actions?

18 U.S. Code 3 - Accessory after the fact

Whoever, knowing that an offense against the United States has been committed, receives, relieves, comforts or assists the offender in order to hinder or prevent his apprehension, trial or punishment, is an accessory after the fact.

Except as otherwise expressly provided by any Act of Congress, an accessory after the fact shall be imprisoned not more than one-half the maximum term of imprisonment or (notwithstanding section 3571) fined not more than one-half the maximum fine prescribed for the punishment of the principal, or both; or if the principal is punishable by life imprisonment or death, the accessory shall be imprisoned not more than 15 years.

Could those like McTurtle and Lindsey Graham be considered to have given trump and company comfort or assistance as noted in the federal code?

Has anything (Devin Nunes) anyone of them have done rise to the level of aid and comfort?

2. Let's start with the Turtle

He could end this. There are 4 Republicans going public with their opposition to Trump and his shutdown; there are probably more who are agreeing with them privately. McConnell could bring the vote on the House bills, AND encourage other Republicans to vote for them. He could work for a veto-proof vote; there are close to enough waverers already.

McConnell, though, is compromised. He may be worried about Elaine's job, but I don't think that's enough to make him completely abdicate his responsibilities as Majority Leader.

3. Conspiracy Law and RICO have very wide reach.

How these laws are used is an open issue.
