If Trump uses National Emergency loophole for the wall, we should use it too

If Donald Trump uses the national emergency power, a President Beto, Sanders or Biden (etc) would be able to declare the following a national emergency:
-Giving health insurance to everyone
-Demolishing the wall built by Trump
-Ending gerrymandering
Etc.

The best thing that could happen is for Trump to refrain from starting this slippery slope.
Otherwise bring it.

IF (big if, of course) such a declaration was a) deserved and b) legally valid, then he could have done it any time since he took office. The Repuke controlled Congress never gave him all this wall money either. He could have done it 2 years ago, 1 year ago, or even 1 month ago before the shutdown started. To say otherwise is to admit that he cannot make such a declaration and have it have the alleged goal effect.
