The trumps don't have a dog in the White House,
breaking a 130 year tradition.
I've often wondered if Melania likes dogs but doesn't have a choice in the matter. I've also wondered which of these is the primary reason donald wouldn't want one: - he's incapable of love. - he'd be jealous that some living thing is more loved than he is... in his own place of residence, no less.

4. He hates dogs.
An animal hater was elected president. Who would have thought it. Sometimes I think I got transported to some weird alternate universe.

16. PetSmart (either them or PetCo, but I think it was PetSmart) rated the candidates in 2016
on their animal policies. This was for the two presidential tickets. They ended up in this order:
Hillary Pence Kaine Trump I posted this (not here), no one commented on it, it got no traction anywhere, and certainly didn't feature as a question at any debate, which it should have (better than whichever moron it was who asked HRC and Trump to each say something good about each other). Even if you can't be around animals, which some of my friends can't, it's good to know if you believe in treating them humanely, understand the services they can provide (service, K9, companionship), support laws that make it a felony to mistreat them, and so on. But not a squeak from anyone. This would have been very much of a tell on him, but no one even brought it up. (It also would have been a huge insight into how Trump eventually ended up treating migrant children). |

5. I am glad. There is no reason to torture a poor doggie by placing him in the WH with Rump
and his murderous, evil kin. I can't think of any animal those thugs should be left alone with. Maybe a honey badger, maybe.

9. +1
Barron seems like he is kind to animals. I've seen him interact with babies and he is very sweet with them.
Poor kid. |

12. As I wrote that post, I was imagining the picture of Don Jr holding the elephant tail
I hope Barron gets the hell away from the rest of them before it's too late! Did you read the description of "Patton" the goldendoodle by the woman who hand picked him for the WH? He is the absolute most perfect dog ever. Even she said she was relieved when Rump refused to take him. The woman kept him for herself.

Also, I am also sure he doesn't want another creature competing with him over the Big Mac's and KFC 16 pc. bucket meals.

15. Can you imagine that man owning a dog?
Having a dog, or any pet, is akin to being a god. You can be a loving, benevolent god or you can be a god full of wrath and retribution.
I'm glad there is no animals near that man. Their physical and mental health would be in danger. |

And Trump supposedly promised him one... but then, surprised, cheated the poor kid.
Trump loves no one, not even his own child. |

19. We have a tapeworm in the White House.
Or some other equally disgusting parasite, and it is sucking the life out of the host, as parasites always do.
I was going to say that there was a rat in the Oval Office, but that would be an insult to rats. |

20. That's because . . .
no self-respecting dog would have them. Reportedly, Trumpski was disgusted by the Pence family having critters. He considers pets 'low class.'
