Here's a description:

Elizabeth goes head to head with a U.S. Governor over the State's new policy of separating unauthorized immigrants from their children.

Last night was Part I of this episode that will be continued on next week.

They depicted the inside of one of the detention facilities holding the children and they portrayed the mindset of people in support of this separation policy.

I teared up watching this episode and was incensed by the heartless rhetoric expressed by those in support of this separation policy.

This episode - I'm sure - was based on the sentiment in this country about this issue. It was well presented and I believe every American should try and watch this.

I'm curious if any other DU'ers here watched this and what you thought of it.

1. Very timely and well done

I loved the scenes with Elizabeth standing up to the idiot Governor.

Considering all of the international story lines and characters that McCord has held to deal with it is pretty funny that the Governor though that he could intimidate her.

Russell may act tough but you can tell that he likes and admires Elizabeth. I think that if he could have gotten ahold of the Governor he would have smacked him at the end of Part I.

6. I just started watching and the sheriff's deputy is saying to the mother,

"you have no rights here".
Actually she does have Constitutional rights.

7. I watch this show every week.I don't normally watch slot of t.v. but I love this show.

Can't wait for next week to see what's going to happen.
