Mattis is "wildly" popular among the troops. Trump, not so much.

Heís also wildly popular among troops. A Military Times poll conducted in late September found that nearly 84 percent of troops had a favorable view of his work leading the armed forces. Among officers, the figure was almost 90 percent.

WASHINGTON ó President Donald Trumpís approval rating among active-duty military personnel has slipped over the last two years, leaving todayís troops evenly split over whether theyíre happy with the commander in chiefís job performance, according to the results of a new Military Times poll of active-duty service members.

About 44 percent of troops had a favorable view of Trumpís presidency, the poll showed, compared to 43 percent who disapproved.

A CNN poll released earlier this month put Trumpís disapproval rating among women at 62 percent. In the Military Times poll, that figure topped 68 percent, with only about 26 percent of military women expressing a favorable view of the president.

2. My son in law did several tours in Iraq and Afghanistan

And Iíve heard him talk about how much the troops hate being pulled out before finishing their purpose for being their.

His and Mattis big differences were trumps desire for replacing u.s. military with Eric prince mercenaries, but Mattis continued to shoot it down.

He still owes the prince/DeVos/Mercer families bigley. Time will tell if this was always his plan.
Unless his bosses Putin and erdogan say no.
