Earlier today they said Flynn was anxious to put this behind him so

he could accept a job offer. All I have to say is he should NEVER get another security clearance. I don’t care how many years he served in the military. Wish they could take his military retirement too.

Outlined in 5 U.S. Code § 8312 - Conviction of certain offenses (Bolding added.)

"...insofar as the offense is committed with intent to injure the United States or with intent to secure an advantage to a foreign nation..."
