Putin Views American Conservatives as Future Allies

Much in Russia has changed since the USSR imploded. Putin views an entirely different crowd as his Americans allies in getting Russian sanctions removed and for persuading Americans to turn blind eyes as he attempts to restore the Russian empire by any means necessary:

and that they threw spaghetti at the wall to see where it stuck. The Dems recognized the unethical tricks and turned them in to authorities while the GOP took the bait.

That don’t know which country will be Satan’s ally in the final showdown between good and evil. (It’s Russia, rubes, look it up) I’m sure he’ll let it slide.
