I think we should call for a national boycott of the Enquirer

also when seen in stores, move them from check stands, turn them around, "accidentally" have them fall and then step on them with muddy shoes etc, you get the picture!

that you won't be shopping there until they stop carrying the Enquirer. That will be more effective than trying to make it harder for individual shoppers to find.

In reality, probably any Enquirer boycott should target chains which carry them rather than the Enquirer itself.

I've never bought one in my life. Toilet paper I can't do without, the Enquirer...no problem. I do turn them around on occasion when I'm offended by the cover.

I showed them what was for sale and told them they were selling poison. If it was poison food, they would pull it. Why are they not pulling this poison off their shelves?

Obvious lies. Seriously ugly.

They did. Not all of them, but 3/4. It took several times and I only asked to speak to them when the covers where provably false.

I recommend it, as long as you can treat the staff and management reasonably.

It published really ridiculous stories and was fairly great satire.

This was 40+ years ago, though.
