"there is some shit I will not eat"
That’s a line from one of E. E. Cummings most well known poems titled, “I sing of Olaf glad and big”
You may not like poetry. However, “i sing of Olaf” should be read by everyone who believes in individuality and freedom. I’m posting it below. Read it if you will. And if you don't like poetry, push yourself a bit. This particular poem will be well worth the effort.
The point I am trying to make with that headline is that, unlike thinking people, Republicans will eat any shit they're fed. Read this E. E. Cummings masterpiece and make up your own minds. (And if you like superheroes, put Olaf at the top of your list.)

whose warmest heart recoiled at war:
a conscientious object-or

On edit: "I will not kiss your fucking flag" -- "there is some shit I will not eat" Hunh. Sounds like someone whose had it with decades of Republican bullshit and is willing to die for his beliefs. Which is exactly what happens. -- It's past time to put an end to phony right wing patriotism/religion/dogma. It's time to stand up for what America should be.
