I thought that was cute.

People forget about the bad. For all intents and purposes, he's supposedly a very nice person outside of politics.

Then, the politics come in.

All healing takes time.

Its little things like this small gesture to remind me of the good side of humans.

Trump is the best thing that ever happened to W because it makes everyone forget what a douchebag he was.

I hated his policies and the consequences of his presidency, but don’t believe he is irredeemable as a human being. Life is long. People sometimes get wiser or less stupid.

The line between good and evil runs through every man’s heart.

I seem to recall him giving her candy at some other event, and the press fawning over it. Not knocking it, but I think he got good reviews for it last time and it's his go-to with Michelle.

“I didn’t realize at the time that anybody noticed what we were doing. President Bush and I… we are forever seat mates because of protocol, that’s how we sit at all the official functions so he is my partner in crime at every major thing where all the formers gather,” she explained. “So we’re together all the time, and I love him to death. But there is one key detail people missed. The Altoids were apparently from a place they both called home – the White House.

“I will add they were old cough drops. That’s the funny thing, because they were in the little White House box, and I was like, ‘How long have you had these?’ And he said, ‘A long time, we got a lot of these!'”

Better yet, I hope the trumps are eventually excluded from official functions where all the formers gather. Felons should lose their former status.
