(8,419 posts)He has taken all the money he can out of Russia, so next step it to steal money from other countries. He needs NATO weakened, he needs the US weakened, he needs Europe, Canada, all democracies weakened.
Best way to do it is to take out the big fish.

It doesn't do the oligarchs any good to buy a unit in Russia when they want to get their money out of Russia.
He was also a candidate for Putin's long range plan as president. It worked but has sorta backfired on Putin and trump as the investigation of the stolen election is closing in.
Too bad, and the same goes for the czarina and her brothers and their businesses. They will all be in the dump soon too.
