DELICIOUS IRONY! Trump's current Cohen-fueled shit storm can be traced back to FOX & FRIENDS.

President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen was “under the impression” that he would receive a pardon if he remained loyal to the president, CNN reported Friday night.

Anderson Cooper broke the exclusive news, having reporter Gloria Borger on to explain what she’d learned.

“Michael Cohen was under the impression that if he stayed on message and continued to protect the president, that either a pardon or some kind of protecting would be in the offing for him,” she said. “We are unclear about who exactly conveyed that message to Michael Cohen, but we know that he came away early on saying, ‘OK, I’m in a good spot, I’m going to be protected. And we then know that everything kind of fell apart.”

Cohen knew Trump would not protect him after one of the president’s appearances on Fox & Friends, where he minimized the work that Cohen did for him, Borger reported.

1. I was just reading up John Dean and Watergate

Dean decided to testify when he realized Nixon was setting him up to be the fall guy.

12. Suggest that the Watergate sequels, ala trump, will be much deeper.

Watergate, while a number of top WH aides [including numbers 1 and 2, Haldeman and Erlichman], went to jail - Nixon went free and the serious stuff was covered up, [ no more 'wallowing in Watergate', 'the nation needs to heal' crap'. Fixer Ford [known in his career, only for manipulations'] was installed. Followed by the insidious Reaganhood [who gave to the rich by robbing from everyone else - income tax 'reform' 'reform' rates for the rich went from 90%+ to 39%?]. Great Scotus Justice Brandeis said, 'we can have great concentration of wealth, or democracy, - but not both'.

In the traitortrump sequel, if the republican party gets sufficiently disabled and Dems don't corrupt too much, real and extensive punishments and reforms may be enacted.

4. Loyalty is one-way on

Trump Street.

And others who may feel they're "special" had better take note.

9. Also-if he thought he'd get a pardon, what about the state crimes? I know he's a shitty lawyer, but.

certainly someone would bring this to his attention at some point that a Federal pardon wouldn't necessarily keep his dumb ass out of prison.

10. Those who don't know the value of loyalty

can never understand the cost of betrayal. I think Trump is about to learn.
