(560 posts)But am I the only one who sees this as a potentially good sign? Theyre attacking provisional ballots because theyre obviously afraid of who they might go to.

(33,643 posts)and, rather, just physically dropped off at a designated location ... and, on Election Day, all polling stations are equipped for these dropoffs with lockboxes. But throughout the early election period, there's all kinds of places you can drop off your sealed/signed ballot as an early voter.
That's how I voted myself on Tuesday. At my local polling place. For Sinema.
It really wouldn't even make sense that the measures are any different for mail-in ballots that are actually mailed in vs. dropped off ... to have different 'signature requirements' (you sign the back of the envelope provided), and in fact, I rather doubt that they do.
This reeks of total BULLSHIT, frankly.
But it may well be a very 'good sign'
BTW, the Sec of State is OF COURSE ... A REPUBLICAN, and I'd imagine most County Recorders are as well ... though I'd bet the Pukes actually have one or two main 'targets' among them, in reality.

(905 posts)Yes, the Repukes have two targets: Maricopa and Pima
Make sure you check the Secretary of State site to ensure your dropped-off Early Ballot is not being challenged by the Rethugs: https://voter.azsos.gov/VoterView/AbsenteeBallotSearch.do
We're in a crucial period: Democratic Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes is on our side and he's in the fight of his life right now to make sure the dropped-off Early Ballots get counted, which apparently have never before been included when the Rethugs were in charge.

(25,258 posts)The rural counties didn't produce a large amount of ballots.
I believe they were counted today.
Pinal is the only red county left.
If counting stopped right now, Sinema would win.
Currently Sinema is about almost 30,000 votes ahead.
