Happy we got the house, but

it sucks that Trump will still be able appoint judges and cabinet officials.

And it sucks that we donít control the Governorships of two important swing states for the 2020 election (Ohio and Florida) where they could have stymied some of the voter suppression efforts

11. Darn. I guess some polls have just closed there because of earlier voting 'issues'.

2. Sorry, this was a BIG WIN. At the beginning of 2017 we wern't expected to win both the House

and Senate.

We won the House. We won Governorships in key states, Virgina, Michigan, and the Midwest isn't over yet.

Also, polls haven't closed in the West Coast yet.

The Senate was always a stretch. However, the House huge not only because it will put a stop to draconian legislation, but perhaps more importantly it will allow the Mueller investigation to conclude

12. I agree, and it isn't even over yet. We are winning Govornorships in states we lost in 2016. By

any measure this is a win for the Democrats

5. The Senate was always the longest of shots

The media treating this as a big loss shows their bias.

Hell, I'm in Fl and even I know this is a big night for Democrats.

2020 Florida and Texas will turn blue
