(2,678 posts)Flew AerLingus from Baltimore to Dublin via Shannon. Then drove to Virginia, County Cavan. Beautiful place and really green. I will say walking the streets of Dublin was, in a word, exhausting. Too many people walking every which way.

(2,678 posts)flew from Dublin to London-Luton. We did the touristy stuff, Central London, while staying in the Hammersmith section, West London. Wow thats a gigantic town.. As in huge, spread out. With the Underground system its easy enough getting around. Funny thing is when we returned to Cavan one of the hotels employees asked us so why did ya feel you had to go to England? She didnt seem all that happy we went there. Odd. 😳🙃

I love London, and have my sister living there. I'd live in London before Dublin.
