Flew AerLingus from Baltimore to Dublin via Shannon. Then drove to Virginia, County Cavan. Beautiful place and really green. I will say walking the streets of Dublin was, in a word, exhausting. Too many people walking every which way.

flew from Dublin to London-Luton. We did the touristy stuff, Central London, while staying in the Hammersmith section, West London. Wow that’s a gigantic town.. As in huge, spread out. With the Underground system it’s easy enough getting around. Funny thing is when we returned to Cavan one of the hotels employees asked us “so why did ya feel you had to go to England?” She didn’t seem all that happy we went there. Odd. 😳🙃

tightarses of Ireland ! Like the Scottish of the UK and the Dutch being the tightarses of Europe

I love London, and have my sister living there. I'd live in London before Dublin.

B & B on Shepherds Bush, Hotel Delmacia. That part of London reminded me, a lot, of Boston. Many trees in that street.
