I was a bit shocked by the turnout today, I always vote around the same time, usually walk, but today the sidewalks are full of wet leaves so I drove, had to circle around for a while to find a parking space, fairly large lot and it was full. It was busier today than 2016. According to the Boston Globe there are long lines across New England.

It took me ten minutes to get in and out in 2016. My precinct in Boston took me nearly an hour at 7:45 am this morning.

No wait, but all the booths were filled with people voting.
It was a steady stream of people, and I'm sure it will be a lot busier when people get home from work.
