1. That is wonderful. My son will not be 18 until

March so he could not vote this time around. He is so bummed. He said several of his friends (who are already 18) said they are not going to vote today. Smh

2. Our son is taking her after he gets off work. Her parents and grandparents encouraged her. Lots!

4. Oh, someone needs to talk to those young adults

Their parents ought to be dragging them to the polls. Most people that age are still in school and living with their parents, so the parents should be able to enforce that. That's a failure in parenting. Well, maybe they are conservative and it is a good thing that they aren't interested in showing up. Let's hope that is the case.

8. What an exciting day!

I was so bummed that I turned 18 the week AFTER the presidential election in 96. I have voted in every election I could ever since then. I looked forward to voting ever since I was a little girl and I always remembered it being a FUN special day when I would go to the polls with my Mom and my Grandma.
