Here is why Trump will lose tomorrow ...People like to pick strong leaders .. While Trump bluster might have seemed strong in 2016 and many people may have bought into it.. It has become more and more apparent except to the dumbest of dumb fucks .. that Trump is scared shitless. And people can sniff out fear and they are not going to vote for someone who is afraid.

1. He said repeatedly that this election is about HIM-
How will he respond when the results are in? Is it still about him (being a loser), or will he have to deflect blame onto the Dems somehow?

3. And the electorate WILL agree with him. The election IS about HIM.
He's not running against one adversary, but several.
He's not running against Hillary Clinton. This is a referendum of the past two years. The Tax Cuts. The attacks on the ACA/Obamacare. His MAGA hats. His rallies. His Tweets. His acephalous children from Ivana. His golf week-ends paid with our money. Etc., etc., etc. |

4. Interesting proposition, but he simply is not on the ballot.
Yeah, voting for Republicans at any spot on the ballot would seem to be an endorsement of Trump, but there are a lot of die-hard Republicans who may not be crazy about him but won't see that voting for the R on the ballot for Senator or Congressman or any other office still is an endorsement of Trump. They'll be thinking that these other people are regular good Republicans. Many of them are not, at least not to the likes of us. But they don't see it that way.
I do have a cautious confidence for tomorrow. Democrats will likely take control of the House but it's possible they could actually lose a couple of seats in the Senate. That's because two Democrats in particular, Claire McCaskill of Missouri and Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota are both facing tough races. Heitkamp does look likely to loose. McCaskill is more of a toss-up. There seem to be NO Republican Senate seats at risk. The problem is that of the 33 Senate seats being voted on tomorrow, only 9 of them belong to Republicans. 2020 will be a different story as at least 20 Republican seats will be up in two years, and of course that will also be a Presidential year. |
