There's also the issue that "the caravan" ran to the border, snuck into the States, went to a polling station to cast their illegal votes, then snuck out again before anyone noticed.

Trump is not a Republican. He has no ideology other than furthering his own interests and striking his ego. If Congress is controlled by Democrats, I totally see him doing a 180 and trying to take credit for everything that Congress would pass.
