Of course, they picture frumpy old deWine at the Browns game. And he's joining the dotard for a rally in Cleveland tonight. UGH What a pair they will make!

The Republican DeWine shook thousands of hands outside FirstEnergy Stadium as Cleveland Browns fans streamed into the NFL game against the Kansas City Chiefs. He got a lot of attention until a longtime DeWine supporter who led the Browns a generation ago arrived: former quarterback Bernie Kosar.
The Democrat Cordray attended the middle worship service at 4,000-member Olivet Institutional Baptist Church on Clevelands east side and wound up his day at George Washington Carver High School with John Legend who portrayed the title character in a live, televised performance of Jesus Christ Superstar this year.

(10,494 posts)Bernie Kosar helped out. When it was over the quarterbacks were to travel to Cincinnati for a celebrity golf tournament. Kosar was bitching the whole time and when we left he knocked down several little kids in his rush to leave. Boomer and I saw it and he asked me to get some more shirts to autograph for them. He stayed and signed for everyone telling Bernie to shut up and wait in the car.
After that I always rooted for Kosar to get sacked hard and Boomer to have success at everything he did! Knowing Jim Kelly, if he had been there to see it he would have kicked Kosar's ass!!!
Figures Kosar would be Republican.

(31,914 posts)Bernie was the "color man" on some pre-season football broadcasts for a while, and it was astonishing to hear how he slurred his words and rambled on and on, as if he was drunk. I wonder if he got hit hard too many times and it affected his brain. Gave him Right Wing Disease.
