I admit it.

There's too little goodness, and far too much nastiness lately in my world. I'm happy to see someone have some of the good stuff

I just got my first dog a few months ago, and she has easily taken up residence in my heart, and helped me to love all doggies in a whole new way...

so happy for this owner and his companion!!!

Saw this on a TV show recently, a real heart-warmer. I thought of the Elvis song, "When I was a Lad and Shep was a Pup", which always brings the tears.

Blessings to Schoep and John!

up! Puts a HUGE smile on my face! The first time I saw the photos of Shoep snoozing in the arms of his human friend in the water, I loved it and it made me get all choked up - and then go find Goldie (our rescued dog) to pet her extra. Just was SO incredibly touched by this. And then this new chapter - sometimes things are just sweet!

She had severe arthritis. She also had cancer which was not operable. I was giving her pain pills for the cancer and the laser treatment for her arthritis.

This explains what the treatment is. I had to take her in once a week, but after she was able to walk a little better after the treatment.

he would bark in a particular way when he need to relieve himself - our clue to gently pick him up and carry him outside

He was full of spirit and dogitude

We miss him

I totally understand when he says Shoep kept him from suicide.

Makes me happy that "strangers" came through. Reminds me that there are still some good people out there, who have hearts of gold.

Sometimes...I need to be reminded about that!

After all, how the hell is low level laser light penetrating the fur and skin and what would it do even if it did. Someone in this thread posted a link, does not say anything about laser light but some sort of spring hammer fixed subluxations of the joint. Sure.
