If this story from a couple weeks back is credible, then the Penn State scandal is just beginning. Thought it deserved its own thread.
The article describes a pedophile ring under investigation involving some extremely rich and powerful men. If investigation is not suppressed, curious where this leads. Makes what has come out in the trial seem really tame.
Edit to remove link to site. Will post links to alternate sites shortly.

(10,103 posts)I suspect they link back as far as the Franklin cover up and the Bush/Reagan White House. This has been going on for a long time, and it's been well hidden for a very long time. It's been covered up time and again because the perpetrators are so highly placed.

(6,110 posts)Do you have an alternative with that much of the story in one place? I will gladly change it. I know it is not the best site.

(1,777 posts)The fact that allegations against well-connected people in Penn have been made and are now under investigation has been reported in reputable places over the last day or two. (I don't have a link handy.) But people who really have "the story" don't go running to white supremacist conspiracy sites where they'll be slotted alongside articles about "black savages" and "the Holocaust myth."

If you can find another source to replace that one...

and into little, iffy webpages. That can kill a story - maybe that's the point.
I have no doubt this scandal is far bigger than PSU and SM. Really reminds me of another story that got killed (along with the chief witness):
