Free Parking October 17 2018 Truth, like gold, is to be obtained not by its growth
http://eureka.news/free-parking-53/
Truth, like gold, is to be obtained not by its growth, but by washing away from it all that is not gold. Leo Tolstoy The earth has, at most, 12 years to stabilize the worst effects of our changing climate. The Republicon controlled government scoffs and demands we use more fossil fuel. Trump’s GOP controlled government has declared that human life is worth nothing but money from the sales of deadly weapons is worth everything. Our 2016 election was stolen by foreign governments and we ignore the fact that Trump is an installed puppet and revile the victim of the theft as being “a poor candidate” or “corrupt” without evidence. Throughout written history women and girls have been enslaved, raped, beaten, tortured, humiliated, sold, given away and murdered for being female. The recent SCOTUS appointment indicates that this won’t be changing for some time to come. more at link http://eureka.news/free-parking-53/ This next couple of weeks are going to be tough to live through. I hope we all have some soothing technique that will help get through this time of waiting. Of course, there's the calling all walking and all of that, but underneath, it's the waiting.

1. Thank you WhiteTara.
Well said. Vote as if our lives depend on it, because they do.
Women have become an endangered species, not due to our lack of number but the cruelty of the men in high places wanting us forever subservient. Woman young and old need to be woke and vote. This is critical. Time to take a stand, it may be our last chance, not just to save ourselves but to save future generations. |

3. This is such a scary nightmare.
Some days I don't really think we're going to pull this one out of the fire in time. I keep trying to sound hopeful when I really want to say
Why don't you just kill yourselves? You hate life anyway. But then I remember I'm on a Buddhist path and try to find the middle way. |

8. I try not to feel it or say it.
However I am terrified. Everyday the 'resident slips further into maddness and everyday his minions and enablerers embrace him as they rape and pillage our America.

14. I think the murder of Kashoggi has almost
numbed me. It's all moving so fast and there seems no way to stop this. We are all waiting for the election results, and then what?

19. The murder.
Sanctioned by trump. It is what he wants to do to our own.
"The election results...And then what?" I don't know. |

25. We might not pull this one out.
It terrifies me, too.
If we win, then what? Do they have a plan? Will they refuse to recognize the results of the election? Nothing would surprise me, not after the Khashoggi murder. But we have to keep fighting them, even if we do not get what we want on election day. |

28. I think that is all that is left
fighting them. I don't think it can be exactly like Germany, and I don't see us being saved by any allied powers. I fear that we will have a Tahrir Square event and then a Syria.

5. It would be a whole different world if the USA had a Reality based Media..
"Our 2016 election was stolen by foreign governments and we ignore the fact that Trump is an installed puppet and revile the victim of the theft as being “a poor candidate” or “corrupt” without evidence."
Thank You so much for your words of wisdom, White Tara! I just started doing Ommmmmmm... Om (About this sound listen (help·info), IAST: Oṃ, Devanagari: ? ![]() https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Om What are the benefits of chanting Om?
Chanting of OM regulates the blood flow to different body parts. Thus, it helps in controlling blood pressure and symptoms of hypertension. When you disconnect from the outer world during chanting, your breathing, respiration and heart beat normalizes. Regular practice thus improves the working of your heart.Feb 13, 2017 ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Om Mani Padme Hum
My teacher says this is really the only mantra you need. Here's an interesting site: http://www.dharma-haven.org/tibetan/meaning-of-om-mani-padme-hung.htm |

of 108 beads and it is a big step on the Path.

22. the between the thumb and finger might
be a good one. Easy to get to and it does feel soothing. Sometimes I remind myself that thoughts arise from nothing and go nowhere and then do deep abdominal breathing until I can sleep again. Maybe all three?
