Trump Says Saudi Prince Again Denies Knowledge of Khashoggi's Fate

President Trump said on Tuesday that Saudi Arabia’s crown prince had again denied any knowledge of the fate of a Saudi dissident journalist, but would expand an investigation into his disappearance and suspected killing two weeks ago.

“Answers will be forthcoming shortly,” Mr. Trump said on Twitter, relaying that he had spoken with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on a phone call that also included Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who is meeting with the kingdom’s rulers in Riyadh, the Saudi capital.

Crown Prince Mohammed, Mr. Trump said, “totally denied any knowledge of what took place in their Turkish Consulate.”

The crown prince “has already started, and will rapidly expand, a full and complete investigation into this matter,” the president said.

If it's anything like the further FBI investigation into Brett Kavanaugh's past and record, I think I can predict with amazing certainty what the results of MBS's investigation will be.

He is unfit to be a goddamn county executive in central South Dakota where 15 people live and rotate the authority on a biannual basis...

IOW, they won't do a damn thing to find out what happened since they already know what happened.

"I even said, 'are you sure you don't know what happened to him?' and MsB said 'I'm sure.' So, I guess that's that."
