It’s possible to plan for short-term and long-term. Scolding people for considering the day we might see Trump out of office and how best to get there? Not all that helpful.

Seriously, I think people are blowing off steam while waiting, and yes, many of us are doing things to GOTV as well, but frankly, you can't be doing that 24/7.

and still speculate on 2020.

My personal feeling is that it is way too early to be picking candidates, but discussing possibilities isn't off the table.

But, really, the person who we choose may not even be someone we've thought of yet.
