Politics has always been a struggle between extremes like Hobo fights and Country Club handshakes. I'd prefer a boring policy debate however. If a politician is lying then I am all for calling out the lie, but there is a difference between a heated debate and celebrity MMA.

I am sure that there is a segment of the population that this appeals to and I am not saying that I would not like to see Donald Trump Jr. get punched in the face, but this is "reality tv" politics and it continues to bring down the discourse on serious issues.


I agree that Democrats should not be timid and should answer back on Republican chicanery in a loud and assertive voice, but this is not the way to do it in my humble opinion.
