Investigate the Trump and Bush administrations. Leave no stone unturned. Let the people know who these people are. Don't allow Bush to normalize himself by pointing to Trump. One is as bad as the other.

(91,627 posts)I've spoke to upwards of 50 candidates at all levels; NONE of them say that Trump's possible crimes is on the minds of the voters, and they certainly aren't thinking about GWB.

(7,358 posts)Getting fixated on using official power to go after past and present political enemies is not the way to win over independents or turn red states and districts blue. No one wants to hear about this drama for years, they just tune it out. People want healthcare, jobs, choice and good incomes.

(5,406 posts)The house doesn't have to be crazy about it. They don't have to be single minded or dog eared in their approach. But they owe it to our country to expose the crimes that have really put our democracy at stake.
I'm tired of the approach that says we are just going to move forward, forget the past, the voters don't care. Well I vote. I've never missed a vote. And I've always voted a straight democratic ticket. And I care about the future. I also care about the past. I've watched friends' kids kill themselves because of the lies that were told to get us into Iraq. I've watched the current administration collude with the enemy, disregarding the rules of not just the law but basic human decency.
And they can do both. Introduce sound laws that can role back the damage 45 has done while expanding on the Obama legacy.
And expose the turds for what the are...turds.
