Where's America's center-right political party?

The GOP as it stands today is a far-right, quasi fascist organization. Why can't the moderate conservative voices form a viable political organization? It would serve our democracy well to have a counterweight to far-right lunacy!

2. Yep, the GOP went far right with the Tea Party

so the Dems moved to the middle. We need to go back to the left where we were before the whole Tea Party shit started.

And it’s unfortunate.

8. Eh, the Dems have never been as left as their European counterparts

And frankly I wouldn’t want them to be. But moving a notch or two leftward would probably be salutary.

9. I suspect that we will have to disagree

One our assessment of the current Democratic Party. I see them as much more centrist and much more interested in Corporate and The Military-Industrial Complex than I would prefer. That said the GOP is ran off the rails years ago and what we are seeing is simply their true colors rather then anything really new.

6. They got left behind in Red Square on the way to the Kremlin

"We just wanted to visit, not become Russian!"
