Ostensibly its about a weapons possession charge, but the implications include the Constitutional injunction against double jeopardy. Extended to state and local jurisdictions.
The right verdict would make recipients of Presidential pardons immune from State prosecution.

(48,912 posts)I have posted over and over that Gamble is not the purported get out of jail free card, nor does it under any circumstance say that Federal and State charges cannot be brought against an individual.
