This is the second big story he blew in six months. He needs to be moved to copy editing. Oh. The first was his insistence that the “44 questions” that Mueller listed for a Trumpy interview actually came from the OSC. IT DID NOT. It came from Trumpy’s legal team. Schmidt refused to correct himself. I hope his boss noticed. I did.

Maggie Haberman and Maureen Dowd. This is the paper that constantly had breaking news about Hillary's email during the election. They imho are useless. I do not for a second regret cancelling the Times earlier this year.

...implications of your sources in using your rag for leaks repeatedly. That part in the Rosenstein story where they remind that the NYT newsroom is firewalled from knowledge of the Anonymous OP-ED writer as that was the Editors ...that's manipulative and not advancing the truth in spirit of fact.

Yellow journalism, or the yellow press, is a type of journalism that presents little or no legitimate well-researched news and instead uses eye-catching headlines to sell more newspapers. Techniques may include exaggerations of news events, scandal-mongering, or sensationalism.

I read a theory from one of them that said that if Trump fires Rosenstein, the liberal base will become inflamed and will vote in droves in November.

Maybe they'd then have a scapegoat in the NYT for the Blue Wave we knew was coming anyway.

DU and Dems in general tend to fall for this shit way too often.

"Oh, Trump hates the NY times and the media? We LOVE the NY times and the media!!!!"

"Oh, Trump hates Jeff Bezos? YAY JEFF BEZOS!!!"

"Trump hates James Comey? JAMES COMEY IS AN AMERICAN HERO!!!!"

Fuck all of that. Every last bit of it.
