I think Dr. Ford will testify on Monday
Maybe I'm totally wrong, but there seem to be a lot of little dots scattered among the MSM that make me want to connect them. Let's see what her answer is tomorrow.

2. I believe she will too.
My hope is that her legal team will not give Dr. Ford's statement to crooked Chuck Grassley tomorrow. A statement promising that she'll appear should suffice. Don't do their goddamn work for them.

3. Me too
Agree to testify (or they'll cancel the hearing) but don't offer one word of testimony in advance. If she's up to it, she should do a national interview on Sunday.

4. No she should offer testimony...
"He tried to rape me."
That's it. |

5. I wouldn't even give them that
They're insisting on Monday and treating her like she's a criminal, let them wait.

8. I would
it's true, answers the mail, and there's absolutely nothing they can do with it.

6. Dr Ford needs be prepared to stongly say over and over, "Senator, I am NOT Anita Hill...
...and you WILL respect me!" Say it loud, say it proud and say it with conviction. Get in their faces. Women know when they are being dissed and a powerful statement that "I will not be bullied, I am not Anita Hill, I demand respect" will put Grassley, Hatch, et al in on their heels in front of the entire nation. Then answer the question her way. If she is interrupted, repeat, "Senator, I am NOT....you WILL respect me" |

7. I don't know if it's wise to mention Hill. It sounds like a bit of a slam against her.
Remember, Hill just did an oped in the NYT in support of Ford. I think she should take Avenatti's advice and have her lawyers negotiate the terms of her testifying. Do a BIG show that reaches the most people on Sunday and blow the GOP out of the water. Make it the worst week of their lives.
If anything she should make Hill a hero. Praise her for being a pioneer for the #metoo movement. |

10. Adversarial / confrontational might not be a good approach
Being really well prepared and calmly and intelligently crushing them with truth is how to do it. Ignire the slights and eviscerate them with calm detailed answers. Be the absolute model of what we imagine a professor should be.
Being aggressive and adversarial will let the right play her off as an 'angry vindictive California liberal'. The spin they've been spreading about her being a protestor and Democrat campaign donor is already laying the groundwork for that approach. She can't give them anything to spin. |
