The pigmedia said it was typical 'liberal' wastrel budget, gonna destroy the country, and, since 1980, i've often marvelled that the kneecapping of Carter and the libleft he represented suffered (see also the 'blue dress' of bill clinton!)...it was plain the reactionarkys, iow the natsecurity state, wanted the Ronald to win, and hahaha, watchem sit QUIET whilst Reagan ran routine $200 billion deficits (helped bigtime by the attempted assassination by nazi party crazy J Hinckley, and remember the shootdown of KAL 007 in fall '83,which made congress so eager to please the neocons) ...The US nat debt was $1 trillion at end of Carter, and it topped $2.6 trillion after Reagan was done! to crickets from the pigmedia.
There are deep seated problems regards the way rep democracy works, but saying it's a magical phenomenon ie fact versus fiction, simply overlooks the big fact the fascism is the red-in-the-blood of ALL human social organization-we are selfish nasty stupid brutes by nature.
